Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2025

1. Introduction

P1, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") runs tryp1ai.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes the information we gather, its use, and your available choices. It covers information received through the Service and direct communications.

P1 creates a generative engineering agent for aerospace and physical systems design. Its platform lets structural engineering teams set design constraints and obtain physics-valid candidate solutions, with validation performed computationally before construction. This policy addresses data collected to run the website and platform.

The Company operates from 500 Yale Avenue North, Suite 400, Seattle, WA 98109, United States. Contact: [email protected].

This policy follows U.S. federal privacy law and applicable Washington state law. CCPA-based rights also extend to all U.S. residents as described in Section 9.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

P1 serves structural engineering teams at aerospace and deep-tech hardware companies on a B2B basis. We collect information you provide, including:

  • Contact details (name, work email, phone) when you fill out a demo request, contact form, or sign up for early access;
  • Company and program information you choose to share (employer name, role, project context, program stage);
  • Design constraint parameters you submit through platform intake forms or onboarding flows;
  • The content of messages you send us by email or through the Service.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

At tryp1ai.com, we automatically collect limited technical information:

  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level);
  • Browser type, operating system, device class;
  • Pages visited, referring URLs, time on page;
  • Cookie and similar identifiers (see Section 5 and our Cookie Notice).

2.3 Platform Usage Data

Use of the P1 physics engine platform by engineering teams generates telemetry such as feature interactions, session durations, and error logs. We use it only to run, maintain, and improve the platform. Without explicit written consent from the customer's organization, we do not use customer design inputs or constraint parameters to train machine-learning models.

2.4 We Do Not Knowingly Collect Children's Data

tryp1ai.com is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly gather their personal information. If you believe a child sent us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information for:

  • Respond to demo requests, inquiries, and onboarding communications from engineering teams;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the P1 physics engine platform and the Service;
  • Understand how engineering teams use the platform so we can prioritize feature development;
  • Send service updates and (with your consent where required) marketing communications about P1 capabilities;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or unauthorized access;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information for monetary value. If state law classifies an advertising arrangement as a "sale" or "share," consult your state's section below.

4. Sharing of Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf (such as hosting providers, email delivery services, and product analytics tools) under contractual confidentiality terms;
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property;
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal information to third parties. Engineering program data, design constraint parameters, and design outputs are not shared with third parties, except when required to run platform infrastructure.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Cookies and similar tools help operate the site, maintain sign-in status, and measure platform use by engineering teams. See our Cookie Notice for details and available choices.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for the stated purposes, legal or accounting duties, and dispute resolution. Inactive marketing-list contacts are deleted after 24 months. Server access logs remain for 90 days, then are aggregated. Platform session data remains up to 36 months after last activity unless a customer asks for earlier deletion.

7. Security

Administrative, technical, and physical measures help safeguard personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, restricted-access databases, and least-privilege controls. No system is entirely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Your General Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, and the ability to limit certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Washington Residents

Washington does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute. As a matter of policy, the Company extends the following baseline rights to all U.S. residents regardless of state of residence.

9.1 Baseline Rights

  • Right to Know: request the categories of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: request deletion of personal information you have provided.
  • Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Marketing: unsubscribe from marketing emails or opt out via the link in each marketing message.

9.2 How to Exercise

Email [email protected] with a description of your request and enough detail for us to verify your identity. We respond within 45 days.

9.3 Sector-Specific Rights

If you are protected by federal sector laws (such as HIPAA, GLBA, or FERPA), those laws may give you additional rights with respect to data covered by them. P1's current customer base consists of structural engineering teams at aerospace and physical systems companies; the data we process in that context is technical program data, not data covered by health, financial, or education sector regulations.

9.4 California Visitors

If you are a California resident visiting from another state, you may also exercise the rights granted under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To submit a CCPA / CPRA request, email [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request."

10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy periodically. A material revision will receive a new "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, a notice on the Service.
