The P1 Physics Engine
Set material properties, load conditions, and boundary constraints. The engine proposes topology candidates that satisfy the set before your team reviews them.
Material, load, and boundary constraints produce valid geometry
The engine begins with material and physics parameters rather than a starting shape. Topology emerges from the constraints, producing candidates permitted by the governing physics.
What the engine produces
Physics-valid geometry has a constraint record. Your team reviews the shortlist.
Generate structural topologies that meet structural load, thermal distribution, and mass budget constraints at once. The engine avoids single-objective tradeoffs that require manual reconciliation later.
Every candidate passes automated FEA, or finite element analysis, before return. Candidates that fail constraints are filtered before the shortlist, with no analyst in the loop.
Define constraints from density, yield strength, and elastic modulus. The engine moves from material physics to allowable shapes, rather than starting with a shape and testing what survives.
Export top-ranked validated candidates in STEP and IGES formats for downstream CAD workflows. Every exported geometry includes its constraint satisfaction record for traceability.
File formats and API access
P1 supports the file formats your team already uses. Import geometry or constraint files, then export validated candidates to your CAD environment.
Supported import formats
Import STEP, IGES, STL, or JSON constraint files, along with boundary condition data from existing simulation geometry files.
Export and API access
Explorer and Mission tiers export validated candidates as STEP and IGES files. Program includes REST API access for connecting P1 to existing simulation pipelines and automated design workflows.
