About P1

Physics-valid design exploration for aerospace and deep-tech hardware teams

P1 exists to widen the design space engineers can examine. Manual exploration is slow, so teams often narrow options early. We make physics-valid exploration faster.

Mission

Make physics-valid exploration fast enough for every program

Physics sets which designs can work, while schedules limit how many options teams can test. Engineers narrow the search not because more options lack value, but because review takes time.

P1 targets the time bottleneck. Our tools move from constraints to validated candidates faster than manual iteration, helping teams compare more options before settling on a direction.

P1 is angel-backed, founded in 2024 in Seattle. We serve structural engineering teams in aerospace and deep-tech hardware.

Team

The P1 team

A small team focused on physics-valid design for aerospace and deep-tech hardware.

Paul Eremenko
Paul Eremenko
CEO and Co-Founder

Led the founding of P1 with a focus on physics-first generative design for physical systems programs. Drives product direction and customer engagement with structural engineering teams.

Marcus Weiss
Marcus Weiss
CTO

Leads engineering and system architecture for the P1 physics engine. Focused on high-throughput FEA pipelines and the constraint resolution layer that makes multi-objective topology search tractable at scale.

Rohan Mehta
Rohan Mehta
Head of Physics

Leads the physics validation and FEA integration layer. Focused on the automated constraint-satisfaction checks that determine whether a candidate topology is structurally and thermally valid before it reaches an engineer's review queue.
